Voting Matters: Raise your voice, keep your rights

The leaders we elect pass laws that ultimately strengthen or weaken our right to organize, get jobs and ultimately, put food on our families’ tables.

To help you stay informed and know who the labor-friendly candidates are, we’ll post facts about candidates as elections approach. Keep checking here for more information.

You don’t need to read every news story or follow every twist of political controversy to cast a ballot.

Just vote for labor-friendly candidates. Make sure the leaders in office understand unions and why organized labor benefits America.

Occasionally, we’ll send out notices to alert you to particularly important issues. Make sure we have your email address on file so you receive these action updates. It’s your vote, your voice.

Biometric Screening

This is a voluntary test, however if you don’t comply your co-pay will increase.
If you are a Kaiser member, you must contact Kaiser at 818-557-3964.
We are currently working with Kaiser to have the hours extended to include Saturdays, for those of you who are working.
All others must contact 1-866-908-9440 or register online at My.BlueprintForWellness.com.
Deadline extended 10/31/2013

All non-Medicare Retirees do have to comply. They have to take the test. There will be no consequences for their medical plan since they are already on an 80-20 plan with no co-pays but it will affect their prescription co-pays if they don’t get the test.
